Mather Zickel has appeared in a wide variety of film and television roles, including as Kieran in “Rachel Getting Married” and as District Attorney Mike Powers in “Reno 911!” on Comedy Central. He also appears in the Adult Swim series “Delocated.” A New York native, Zickel’s first major role was his memorable portrayal of Bill Murray in the ABC telefilm, “Gilda Radner: It’s Always Something.”
Zickel studied acting at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and The Shakespeare Lab at the Public Theatre. He spent 15 years performing in various New York experimental venues, working with some of America’s most creative young playwrights such as Sarah Ruhl, Gina Gionfriddo and Adam Bock. On stage he most recently appeared as Carter in “Extraordinary Chambers” at the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles, and can be seen playing the part of Will on “Man Up” set to premiere Tuesday October 18th at 8:30pm on ABC.
